Young Scientists Union "Intellect" with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) is implementing a project - “The response to the Gaps Identified in the Rapid Needs Assessment”.

The aim of the project is to raise the level of awareness among immigrants living in the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara about the risks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and preventive measures; protect the rights of immigrants through legal advice and legal assistance; facilitate the full participation of international students in the online learning process; strengthening the capacity of local self-governing bodies and civil society organizations in matters of protecting vulnerable groups of immigrants, formulating policies tailored to their needs, and provision of appropriate services.

Under the project, the following services will be available to immigrants:

• Provision of the information on COVID-19 and preventive measures;
• Legal counseling / assistance;
• Workspace equipped with modern computer equipment for students.

All services provided by the project are free.
