Young Scientists Union “Intellect” is providing selected educators in communities with trainings under the project “Communities for Democratic Elections” with the support of European Union. Trainings for selected educators in communities of Adjara region commenced. During trainings educators will study basic aspects of self-government legislation and methodologies for holding educational meetings. Qualified and experienced trainers - Mr. Geno Geladze (Doctor of Education – Chairman of Executive Committee in Institute of Democracy) and Mr. Levan Gobadze (PhD in Engineering Sciences, Young Scientists Union “Intellect”) are holding trainings. For the end of the training certificates are to be given to the mentioned participants.

According to training participants “Training is very interesting as it relates with the working system of self-government and functions of it. Besides we are having experienced and qualified trainers the knowledge and experience of which will help us greatly while working as an educator in communities. It is worth mentioning that we acquired new friends particularly in all communities of municipality. We are going to cooperate during project implementation period and will be happy to participate in similar projects. ”

Trainings are to be continued till 3-rd of March.

As soon as trainings are completed educators are to start educational activities in their immediate communities.
