Presenting the results of the survey: "Functional region of the Black Sea Area, Attraction Centers and Competitive Advantages"
On May 21st of the current year, Hotel Hilton hosted a meeting, in the dialogue mode, for the local interested persons, on the topic of regional development - The Black Sea Area Functional Region, Attraction Centers and Competitive Advantages"
The event was aimed at discussing the challenges and prospects of the regional development and mechanisms of cooperation and collaboration of interested parties (government, Civil Society Organizations, Business, Academic Authorieties).
Invidted guests were introduced the findings and recommendations of the survey - "The Black Sea Area Functional Region, Attraction Centers and Competitive Advantages" by Elene Darjania - the head Urbanist of the "City Institute Georgia".
The research was done under the project - "Support of Regions for Sustainable Development" with the financial support of the EU, in partnership with partner organizations: People in Need (PIN) and Institute Of Democracy.
Reporting resulted in a discussion on the significant issues mentioned in the research.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the local government and self-government, Civil Society Organizations, Academic authorities, business and media.
The event was organized under the project - "Civil Society Development Initiative - Georgia" (CSSIGE) by Adjara regional hub - Young Scientists Union "Intellect".

The "Civil Society Sustainability Initiative - Georgia"(CSSIGE) is implemented under the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) in collaboration with the “Civil Society Institute”(CSI), “Consulting and Training Centre”(CTC), the “Centre of Strategic Research and Development – Georgia”(CSRDG), “Education Development and Employment Center”(EDEC).
