Title of the Action: Communities for Democratic Elections

Goals of the Action: Project goal is to promote development of democratic reforms in Georgia via electing self-government bodies based on independent elections, expressing free will of broad masses of society and promotion of institutional development of such self-government bodies.

Objectives of the Action:

-         Enhancement of awareness level of community population in target municipalities regarding to electoral law, electoral procedures, essence of self-government, rules of electing self-government bodies and their functioning;

-         Promotion to establishment of legal awareness and legal culture of community population;

-         Promotion to increasing institutional and management capacities of self-government bodies of target municipalities.

Description of the Action:

Enhancement of awareness level of community population in Khulo, Shuakhevi, Keda, Khelvachauri and Kobuleti municipalities regarding to electoral law, electoral procedures, essence of self-government, rules of electing and functioning self-government bodies promoting legal awareness and legal culture establishment of community population; Promotion to increasing institutional and management capacities of self-government bodies of target municipalities.

Since October 10-th, 2013 up to April 310-th, 2015
