Title of the Action: Monitoring of Resettlement Process of Socially Vulnerable Groups and Ecological Migrants in Adjara Region

Goals of the Action: Monitoring of activities connected to problems solution regarding to resettlement of socially vulnerable groups and immigrated ecological migrants in Autonomous Republic of Adjara; Promotion of transparent and fair regional governmental policy formation.

Objectives of the Action:

-         Monitoring of unlawfully resettled population list made by government;

-       Elaboration of research design and carrying out research for evaluation living and household capabilities of unlawfully resettled socially vulnerable groups and ecological migrants;

-         Creation of data base for unlawfully resettled population based on research results;

-         Developing recommendations for Adjara region state structures.    

Description of the Action:

The Project aims to promote transparent and fair governmental policy in Adjara region with respect to willfully and unlawfully resettled socially vulnerable groups and ecological migrants in Khelvachauri region. Monitoring of governmental resolutions will be carried out and living and household conditions of unlawfully resettled population will be studied according to their places of residence for achieving the mentioned aim, based on which recommendations will be developed for governmental structures of Adjara region. All stakeholders’ participation in regional governmental policy formation processes will be provided.
