Regional business meeting under the developing communication Strategy and Action Plan for the campaign of "Ripping Stereotypes”
Today, Civil Society Institute held business meeting in the Contemporary Art Space under the developing communication strategy and action plan for the campaign of "Ripping Stereotypes” in cooperation with the Young Scientists Union “Intellect” (Adjara regional hub).
The meeting was attended by the CSOs working in the region, the representatives of local media and the business associations, politicians, students, youth groups, bloggers, internet influencers and teachers of the civil education.
Event was moderated by: Temur Djaliashvili, Giga Kharebava and Saba Djadjanidze.
Project implies developing communication strategy and action plan by the tender selected company “Elliot Webber” in cooperation with the "Civil Society Development Initiative". This document will be the basis for ripping the specific stereotypes of civil society and campaign promoting the idea of EU integration.
The event was organized under the project "Civil Society Development Initiative" (CSSIGE).
The long-term goal of the project is to improve the civil society environment in Georgia, strengthen civil society organizations, increase their accountability towards citizens and connection with other actors.
The project is funded by the European Union (EU) and Germany Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
Project, with the total budget of 5,07 million euros (with 3,8 million EU contribution), envisages implementation of over 110 activities and giving 80 grants. Totally, It envisages implementing projects, costing 720 thousand euros, for at least 2500 civil society representatives throughout Georgia.
The project is implemented by the Consortium consisting of: Civil Society Institute( (CSI), Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG), Consultation and training center (CTC), Kutaisi Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), under the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS).
