Training on DCFTA issues for CSOs working in Adjara region
On April 2-3 of the current year, the Association of Young Scientists Union of Georgia "Intellect" and "Consulting Organizations Association" (ABCO Georgia) is organizing a-two-day training on Association Agreement with the European Union and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) agreement geneal issues for CSOs working in Adjara region in terms of project - “ Georgia on European Road” and creating an Effective Model for Implementation of Small and Medium Enterprises Strategy".
The training covers the following issues:

What is DCFTA?

DCFTA's basic requirements;

Steps, need to be taken by the enterprise to export their products to the EU market.
A small grant contest will be announced for the training participant organizations at the next stage.
Organizations will be funded to inform and conuslt the public about the small and medium-sized enterprises related to the DCFTA, to promote co-operation with state structures, CSOs, business promoting organizations and small and medium enterprises in DCFTA issues.
In addition, after the training, the DCFTA Regional Council is going to be composed out of representatives from local CSOs, government and business sector to work on the above-mentioned issues.
The project is implemented by the Consortium of CSOs and Research Centers under the guidance of East European Research Center (EESC, Lithuania).
The Consortium includes: “Association of Business Consulting Organizations of Georgia” (ABCO Georgia), “Georgian Institute of Policy” (GIP, Georgia), “Globsec Policy Institute” (GPI, Slovakia), Young Scientists Union "Intellect" (YSUI, Georgia), Association Atinati (Georgia) and Association Caucasus Genetics (Georgia).
The project is funded by the EU (EU) "European Neighborhood Instrument".
